L.142
A later lamp by R. Ditmar with a pyramidal cast iron base from probably 1915-1920's at the end of the Art Nouveau era.
The cut crystal font is shown several times in the 1897 catalogue. The cast iron foot, however, appears much later, in the 1926 catalogue. Presumably, however, it was designed somewhat earlier. I have left the foot in its wonderful patina.
The burner is a 15’’’ Präsident burner by Ditmar, with blue glass on the wick knob. The flame disc is also original.
To complete the lamp, I needed a new shade holder, a 15’’’ Matador chimney and an old white Vesta shade.
